- 1 cup long-grain Ndop Natural white rice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Put 1 and a half cups water to a medium Pot or saucepan and Boil.
- As water boils wash the rice in a bowl for about 3 to 4 times until the it gets clean.
- Put the rice into the boiling water and make sure the rice is at the same level with the water in the Pot.
Reduce heat to a simmer, cover, and cook until rice is tender and has absorbed all the liquid, 16 to 18 minutes (Add water progressively as the rice cooks). The rice should be studded with craters, or steam holes, when it is ready.
Remove from heat and let steam, covered, for 10 minutes. Then fluff with a fork and serve with any sauce of your choice.
